We worked closely with the Client during the design alterations and changes to ensure our timeline didn’t blow out. In fact because of this, the project timing was compressed and we finished ahead of time.
Augmented 40kms of railway transmission cable for a new freight rail corridor between Sefton to Campbelltown.
Moved, removed and replaced the transmission feeder for the rail network. Included installation of over 250 new poles, undergrounding the Transmission alongside train stations.
The project was conducted in a live rail environment and during possessions. Works included pole
relocation, aerial relocation, undergrounding transmission main and Galvanised Steel Troughing (GST)
Works formed part of the critical path for the entire project.
The focussed approach to project management and well-resourced plant & staff during possession works after hours and on weekends minimised traffic disruptions around the works area.
