This was a complex and challenging job due to constant design reviews and changing requirements. We were able to adjust successfully to meet these requirements. Effective liaison with the client, council and the owners/operators of residential, commercial and industrial premises was an important part of the work.
Duplication of the highway to reduce congestion, improve traffic flow, increase pedestrian safety and beautify the area. Involved reclamation of private property.
The work included:
Removal of all overhead assets and installing new underground electrical assets in their place.
Installation of major overhead distribution mains. Installation of new street lighting to RTA specs.
All new installation of ITS (Intelligent Transport System) – electrical and communication for RTA.
P&U demonstrated it has the capacity and flexibility to fulfill the demands of a complex ongoing project.
P&U was able to adjust to meet the constantly changing requirements. During construction, this included having good relations and working cooperatively with a number of contractors to get the work done.
